We’re Upgrading Our Infrastructure to Better Serve You!

Important Information for Our Residential and Business Customers

As part of our commitment to provide you with the best possible customer experience, Hargray is undertaking an important technology infrastructure upgrade to our voice services. We will replace our current voice switch with a state-of-the-art Genband softswitch over the course of the upcoming months. Although in most cases this upgrade will not change the way you use our voice services, you should be aware of some important general impacts, noted below.

As part of the switch migration process, Hargray customers will experience temporary service interruptions lasting approximately 3-5 minutes. During these service interruptions, your Hargray Home and/or Business Telephone service will be unavailable, including the ability to dial 911. Customer migrations to the new softswitch will take place between June 6, 2016, and September 30, 2016, and maintenance activity will be performed between the hours of 12:01am and 6:00am. Please note that you will receive notice to your contact email of record at least 48 hours prior to the time your service location is scheduled for migration.

Voice Mail Changes
If you subscribe to Voice Mail from Hargray, you will need to reset your PIN and online management password following the migration of your voice service(s). Additionally, Voice Mail menu options will change, and any saved voice messages will only be accessible at myservices.hargray.com/myservices/vm for 14 days following service migration. Please note that once your Voice Mail has been migrated to the upgraded system, access to online Voice Mail management for the new system will be located at https://vmail.hargray.com.
