Chad Ery

Community Relations Coordinator

Chad Ery works primarily in the Bluffton/Hardeeville/Sun City market in the Community Relations department.  Chad is the Community Relations Coordinator on team and brings with him over 10 years of Installation and Repair experience.  His past I&R duties now provide valuable insight to the Team along with technical knowledge of product and procedure to customers in our communities.  Whether assisting customers with concerns about their internet and television service, or engaging with them at Hargray sponsored events, Chad is always enthusiastic about strengthening our community relationships.  Additionally, Chad assists in expediting tickets created on claims of damage done to customer property while Hargray work was being performed.

Chad began his career with Hargray as a contractor in 2006 and was hired directly by Hargray in 2007 after the company’s sale by original ownership.  He has worked in many of Hargray’s territories such as Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Hardeeville, Ridgeland, Sun City, Beaufort, and Pooler, Ga.  In 2018 Chad joined the Community Relations team and currently continues to build trust with our customers, reinforcing our Core Values in many communities.

Chad moved to the Lowcountry in 1995 and raised his family here.  Outside of work he has a passion for competition BBQ.  He is a certified judge for the Memphis BBQ Network, and in early 2020 tested his skills for the first time as a competitor, earning the Grand Champion trophy and prize for his division.
