Hello, Sparklight Customers –
On October 1, 2020, Cable One contributed its Alabama system to Hargray, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to serve you and the Anniston, Jacksonville, and Oxford communities. Our entire team is excited to begin providing the advanced services and friendly, local support we have delivered throughout the Southeast for more than 70 years.
We recognize that the services we provide are vital to enable people and communities to connect and thrive, and how we do so matters. That is why Hargray’s mission is to envision and deliver customer delight. We are passionate about providing our customers with the best high-speed Internet, enhanced TV, and home phone services along with the kind of superior, local, personalized customer care that is uncommon in our industry.
While we work to integrate the existing Sparklight network and systems into Hargray’s operations to make available an enhanced set of products, Sparklight customers will not experience any change in services or billing for several months. During this transition period, we will continue to use the Sparklight brand.

Over the next 12 months, Hargray will integrate network and systems to support Hargray’s suite of enhanced residential and business products available in other markets, including Internet speeds up to 1 Gbps, Wall-to-Wall Wi-Fi, crystal clear Digital TV with expanded viewing options, Home Phone with nationwide local calling and enhanced calling features, and communications solutions for businesses of all sizes.
As new products and services become available, we will reach out to you to determine the products that best fit your needs.
Although we carry many of the same channels, there are some differences. Hargray offers many channels that Sparklight does not have and Sparklight offers a few channels that Hargray doesn’t currently carry. In the next few months, we will determine which channels will be added and we will offer new channel lineups.
Yes, you will continue to receive a bill from Sparklight, and you should continue to pay the bill as you have always done. Once we complete the network and billing integration, you will start receiving a bill from Hargray. At that time, you will receive instructions regarding any payment options changes, as well as information about new products available to you.
Like many other retail stores around the country, the Sparklight store is currently closed for the safety of our customers and our colleagues as a result of continued impacts of COVID-19. Hargray plans to reopen the center located at 606 Noble Street in Anniston at the appropriate time.
Hargray has served communities in the Southeast for more than 70 years, and we look forward to carrying this tradition forward with investments in communications infrastructure to fuel growth and economic prosperity in Anniston and the surrounding areas. Hargray has a long history of supporting community events and sponsorships, and our local workforce (which we expect will include all of the current, locally-based Sparklight colleagues), will continue to contribute its time and talents to make the Anniston, Jacksonville, and Oxford areas the best places to live, work, and play.
