Voicemail

Hargray's voicemail system takes messages for you when you are unavailable to take the call.

Our voicemail is an advanced system that includes remote message retrieval and mailbox messages that can be used for an announcement. Message capacity and retention depend on the plan selected (Standard or Premier), as do extra features, such as the ability to set a wake-up service and paging. All plans include the *98 feature to retrieve messages.

Standard Voicemail with Enhanced Features:

• Receive notification of voice messages via text messages to your mobile phone.
• Read voice messages as email attachments.
• Retrieve and manage voice messages online.

Premier Voicemail with Advanced Messaging:

• Receive a fax when you receive a voicemail message.
• Retrieve and manage voice messages online.
• Forward faxes sent to your phone to a number/machine where you can view/print them, or to an email address.
• Create up to four additional mailboxes for the same telephone number.
• Record messages and set them up for future delivery to any number, including yours (reminders), up to 180 days in advance.
• Forward your phone to other lines depending on where you are (Find/Follow Me).
• Customize your recorded greeting for different callers.

Call Forwarding

Call Forwarding lets you transfer your incoming calls to another number. You can turn Call Forwarding on and off on demand. You select the number where calls will be forwarded—local, measured or long distance.

Features & Benefits

• Easy to forward calls on demand.
• Your phone rings briefly to remind you that Call Forwarding is active. When you receive an incoming call, you'll hear a brief ring.
• You can still make outgoing calls while Call Forwarding is active.
• You can forward calls to a number outside your local calling area; you will be charged the appropriate rates for any forwarded calls.

Call Waiting

With Call Waiting, you'll hear a tone when someone calls and you are already on the phone. When you hear the tone, you can do one of three things:

• End the call
• Switch between two callers
• Ignore the Call Waiting tone

• While you are on the phone, a tone alerts you that another call is coming in. You'll hear the Call Waiting tone up to three times.

Speed Dialing

Speed Dialing allows you to dial one or two digits instead of the entire local or long distance number. You can select the 8# or 30# version of Speed Dialing to simplify repetitive dialing.

Three-Way Calling

Speak with two or more parties at once. Also referred to as a conference call, Three-Way Calling provides flexibility. Sign up for Three-Way Calling and talk to all of your friends and family at one time!

• Saves time and avoids confusion

Call Return

Call Return dials your last caller (whether or not the call was completed). This service "remembers" the number of your last caller. You don't have to know the number to return the call. The service tells you if the number was blocked, private, or out of the area. If the line is busy, the service checks for a free line for up to 30 minutes. When the line is free, you'll hear a special ring on your phone. You can use the service for up to 30 numbers at a time.

Caller ID displays the 10-digit telephone number of an incoming call. The number displays between the first and second ring cycle. Caller ID supports numbers within our Custom Local Area Signaling Services (CLASS) region.

• Allows you to be more responsive to customers by reviewing account information before you answer the call

Caller ID Name

Caller ID Name displays the caller's name and the 10-digit telephone number of an incoming call. The number displays between the first and second ring cycle. Caller ID Name supports numbers within our Custom Local Area Signaling Services (CLASS) region.

Caller ID Block

Caller ID Block allows you to block your number from appearing on a display telephone or display unit. This option is provided on a per-call basis at no charge; a permanent option is available for a small monthly charge.

Customer-Originated Trace

Trace harassing or life-threatening telephone calls on demand with Customer-Originated Trace. We will release the traced information to appropriate law enforcement officials. You must file a complaint with the proper authorities and complete a Call Trace Request Form. Customer-Originated Trace works on calls that originate within our Custom Local Area Signaling Services (CLASS) region.

Repeat Dialing

Repeat Dialing automatically calls the last number you dialed, whether it was answered, unanswered or busy. The service can redial a busy number for up to 30 minutes. When the line is free, you'll hear a special ring. You can use the service for up to 30 busy numbers at a time.

Selective Call Forwarding

Selective Call Forwarding allows you to forward only selected calls to a special number. It allows you to store up to 12 numbers. When incoming calls originate from one of those numbers, those calls are forwarded to the number selected.

• Allows you to turn the service on and off on demand

Selective Call Rejection

Selective Call Rejection allows you to reject calls from selected numbers. The service allows you to store up to 12 numbers. When incoming calls originate from one of those numbers, the phone doesn't ring. Callers hear a recording indicating that you're not accepting calls. Calls that originate from numbers not on your list ring normally.

• Provides you with more control
• Callers hear a recorded message stating, "The party you have reached is not accepting calls at this time."
• Helpful in eliminating or reducing irritating hang ups, and harassing or threatening calls. Simply add the last caller to your Call Rejection list.

Call Forwarding Remote Access

Call Forwarding Remote Access lets you enable, disable or redirect Call Forwarding from any touch-tone phone.
