Local Communications Company Funds Team to “Play Through”

Hilton Head Island, S.C. – March 15, 2010 – Hilton Head Island High School announced today that Hargray Communications has agreed to help fund the school’s golf program for the 2010 season. The program will use the donation to help defray travel and equipment costs.

“We are so thankful for Hargray’s generous support,” said the team’s head coach Rawn Grant. “Without these funds, having a successful season would be very difficult for our students. They will now have the necessary equipment to play their best, and I know they’re very much looking forward to competing this spring.”

“The Hilton Head Island Seahawks are tremendously important to our community,” said Eddie Andrews, Director of Marketing for Hargray. “We are thrilled to be a supporter of the golf program and are looking forward to watching them play this year.”
