Over the next year, Hargray will invest in ComSouth’s network to provide next-generation products and services like 1 Gbps High Speed Internet, state-of-the-art Digital Television with 285+ channels, access to a prime selection of programs on-the-go with streaming content, and Home Telephone featuring Nationwide Local Calling and enhanced calling features.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

I am a ComSouth customer. What will Hargray’s acquisition of ComSouth mean to me?

Until the transaction closes, nothing will change as a result of this transaction.   Following the closing, Hargray will begin to transition  ComSouth’s network and systems to enable them to provide next-generation products and services like 1 Gpbs High Speed Internet, state-of-the-art Digital Television with 285+ channels, access to a prime selection of programs on-the-go with streaming content, and Home Telephone featuring Nationwide Local Calling and enhanced calling features.

Until the transition is complete, your current ComSouth services and billing will not change; you will continue to receive the same services at the same rates.

When we are closer to beginning this integration process, we will provide you with the simple steps to transition your service to Hargray, and because Hargray offers different options for your services, we’ll be in touch with you to figure out which of our packages best suit your lifestyle.

Do I need to do anything at this time?

No; we will notify you when the transaction has closed and when we are ready to transition you to a Hargray package of services. However, if you would like to discuss Hargray services in advance, please feel free to call 800.599.7470 to speak to one of our customer care specialists who can tell you more about our services and packages.

Will my services change?

Again, nothing will change at ComSouth as a result of this transaction until closing.  When the transaction closes, we will begin transitioning ComSouth’s network and systems and will have many advanced services available for purchase like 1 Gbps High Speed Internet, Digital Television with 285+ channels with state-of-the-art features and functionality, access to a prime selection of programs on-the-go with streaming video content, and Home Telephone featuring Nationwide Local Calling and enhanced calling features.

Additionally, because we offer different packages of services than ComSouth, we will need to talk to you to figure out which of our packages best suit your needs.

Will I continue to receive a bill in the mail?

Yes, nothing will change with your bill until completion of a transitional period following the closing. Once the transition is complete, you will receive instructions regarding any payment changes.

Note that after we have completed the upgrade, Hargray will offer the convenience of receiving and paying your bill online each month, and you can make payments online or via an auto-debit from your bank account.  We highly encourage this form of bill receipt and payment as it is better for our environment and more convenient for you, and also entitles you to special savings on your monthly bill.

Do I need to contact you now?

Not unless you want to make a change to your existing ComSouth services, in which case you should continue to contact ComSouth as you have done in the past. We will contact you when we have completed our transition and are ready to convert you to a Hargray package of services.

I just received a bill from ComSouth.

Should I pay it or wait to get a bill from you? Yes, please continue to pay your regular ComSouth bill.

You will receive instructions regarding any payment changes after the transaction is closed, and we have completed our transition by moving your account to a Hargray package of services.

Will my bill change?

Nothing will change in your bill as a result of this transaction until closing and the completion of the transition period.   Following the transition, some changes are possible when  your services are converted to Hargray’s plans and packages. Whenever possible, we will attempt to match customers into like-or-better services for the same or similar price, and we’ll have special offers to help you upgrade or add services you may not subscribe to today.

When will I begin to receive a bill from Hargray?

Again, nothing will change as a result of this transaction until the closing has taken place.  Thereafter, your bill will transition from ComSouth to Hargray once we have completed the transition period and your account is moved to a Hargray package of services.

Once we are ready to transition you onto our network and billing, we will provide you with the simple steps to transition your service to Hargray, and because Hargray offers different service packages, we’ll be in touch with you to figure out which options best suit your lifestyle.

I’d like to sign up for the Hargray products and services featured on your website. Are they currently available in the ComSouth area?

We will continue to offer the same products and services offered by ComSouth until we have completed the transition. Once the transition is completed, we will be able to provide the products and services featured on Hargray.com in your area.
